Join us for this two part webinar series to learn from state experts focused on addressing the wage gap in Maine, set for noon on both Tuesday, April 15 and Tuesday, May 6.

In this series you will receive updated state data, information on programs and advocacy efforts to address equal pay, and policies to further address the pay equity in Maine.

Session one (April 15) has a focus on state government approaches to pay equity. The speakers are state leaders including:
Shenna Bellows, Maine Secretary of State
Laura Fortman, Maine Department of Labor Commissioner
Elinor Higgins, executive director of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women
Rae Sage, policy coordinator of the Permanent Commission on Racial, Indigenous and Tribal Populations

They will discuss the current status of closing the pay gap, securing equal pay for all, and the intersectional impacts of the wage gap on disparities in Maine.

This webinar is co-hosted by the Maine Women's Lobby Education Fund and the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women.
