Girls’ Day Back in the State House!

After three years away, we were able to have our 27th cohort of Girls’ Day at the Statehouse BACK in person!

We hosted 85 incredible 8th-grade students at the State House in Augusta. They heard inspiring words from powerful woman leaders including the Governor, Speaker of the House, and Secretary of State. Students were able to learn hands-on how to participate in a public hearing and the process of how a bill becomes law.
